Education at CNSS

The crucial importance of Jewish education is noted in the twice-daily prayer, the Shema:

“And you shall teach them to your children and speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk on the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.”

– Deuteronomy 6:7

In addition to regular programmes such as the Cockfosters Learning Centre (CLC) and Lunch and Learn, CNSS provides a range of educational programmes and activities to suit all ages, tastes and levels of Jewish knowledge.  From formal shiurim (lectures) to informal discussions, there is something for everyone.

As well as the usual range of services for Shabbat and the various festivals, CNSS takes its role as a beit knesset—a place of meeting—very seriously.  With The Hub providing an additional informal venue, CNSS continues to provide innovative yet traditional learning in a comfortable setting.
