About Us

Hebrew Reading Crash Course.  Join Rabbi Shindler to learn or improve your Hebrew reading skills in a five week programme on Thursday evenings (starting 9th June).  Click here for one of the limited places.

Lehava Women’s Programme.  We are pleased to announce a programme of very special events, the first of which, Flowers of Bloom, took place on 31st May.   Further details of the programme are in CNSS Connect, on the events calendar, or may be obtained from the Shul office:

Up, up and away!  If you come to Old Farm Avenue, you will see that our lift has been installed.   The Shabbat function is also fully functional.  Work is now also under way for the refurbishment of the MT Hall, which will take place over the next few months and we hope to have everything ready in time for Rosh Hashanah.  If you would like to help us more by sponsoring an item in the hall, please contact the shul office.

Weekly shiur.  On Monday mornings, after Shacharit, Rabbi Shindler is leading a weekly class on Tractate Pesachim.  Refreshments, of course, provided.  Rabbi Shindler is also holding a Shiur after mincha on Shabbat afternoon.  All this, of course, in addition to our regular educational and social programmes.  See CNSS Connect each week to keep up to date!

Security.  We would be enormously grateful if members who are not currently volunteering for our Shabbat security rota would offer to do so.  The more volunteers we have, the fewer the shifts each volunteer would be asked to do.  Please contact the Shul office to help us with this if you possibly can.  The security of all our members and visitors is paramount and there is no more important a contribution that you could possibly make than to help keep us all safe.

Old Farm Avenue.  It’s never too late to support CNSS’s fund-raising for the hall and related infrastructure projects.  You can donate using this link.

Minyanim.  Could we ask adult male members to make every effort to support the weekday minyan, particularly to enable members to say kaddish?

Details of our CLC, C&C Live, Lunch and Learn and other events and programmes can of course be found on our Events Calendar and in the CNSS Connect weekly newsletter.

For security reasons, members will find links and passwords for Zoom and Facebook events in separate emails, WhatsApp groups and other Shul communications.  However if you have any problems, do contact the office and let us know.
