Lauren Wolman – Women’s Officer

The Women’s Officer’s principal role is to communicate with our female members to ensure that they are aware of everything that goes on at CNSS during the week and the year and that they feel fully supported as members of the community.  Amongst other things, the WO assists with the Bnei Mitzvah programme and with Community Care and considers all of the Shul’s activities to ensure that they are welcoming for female members.

Lauren Wolman is the first and current WO.

She joined CNSS in 1984 and has been on the Synagogue Council for more than 25 years, having had a variety of roles.  Married in 1983 to Harris Wolman.  She was born in nearby Friern Barnet but grew up in Hove.  Lauren and Harris have three children.

Lauren worked in accountancy and as finance officer for the Agency for Jewish Education for 11 years.  She also worked at the United Synagogue head office in the finance team was the Finance Officer for Stanmore Synagogue for 8 years.
